New Delhi: The odd-even car rationing formula rolled back in national capital by Delhi government to control the air pollution, a road rationing plan in which odd and even numbered vehicles ply on alternate days, from Monday. According to sources the scheme will be implemented from November 13 and will continue till November 17.
Delhi is facing major hike in it’s pollution levels in past few days. The decision was taken by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday as the city continued to suffer from smog-like conditions and deteriorating air quality for the fourth day. Transport minister Kailash Gahlot is scheduled to hold a press conference at 4pm where the arrangements for the scheme are likely to be announced.
