Mohali, December 06 (Wishav Warta): The Bail applications filed u/s 438 cr.p.c for grant of bail by Ex. Minister Sarwan singh phillaur, his son Dhamanbir Singh, former CPS Avinash Chander ,Sachin Sardana, Sushil Sardana, Sushil’s wife Rashmi Sardana, Kailash Sardana have been dismissed by Special Judge of CBI court Mohali, SS Mann. Jagjit Singh Sarao was presented as special public prosecuter Advocate from Government.
Earlier this year ED had ordered attachment of properties of Sarwan, his son Damanvir Phillaur, another politician Avinash Chander as also ten others, including some businessmen, in connection to a probe into money laundering charge against Jagdish Singh Bhola, a former state police DSP and main accused in the drug racket case. They all were named in the chargesheet submitted by ED(Enforcement Directorate) to Mohali court of the Special Judge, CBI-PMLA court earlier this year.
