Chandigarh 28 March( Wishavwarta)-CM has permitted Municipal Bodies to buy medicines and food for the daily wagrers and poor persons as well as fodder for Gaushalas out of Municipal Funds at their disposal. Total allowance –
1. MC Ldh , Asr and Jalandhar – Rs One Lakh daily
2. Other Municipal Corporations – Rs 50,000 daily
3. Class A Municipal Committees – Rs. 25000 daily
4. Class B, C and Nagar Panchayats – Rs. 15000 daily
Yesterday each Panchayat was
permitted to incur an expenditure of Rs 5000 daily on medicines and food
