
New Delhi, 23 August(Wishav Warta): After Punjab and Haryana, Jharkhand has become the country’s third state to implement the Anand Marriage Act. Giving this information, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, general secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Said Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has informed about the implementation of this act by writing a letter to him. He had raised this issue with the Chief Minister. He has initiated this Act to implement all the states of the country.
The State Governments and the Union Territories are also being contacted with the Lt Governments so that these Acts can be implemented. He has also said that the process of implementing this act in Delhi is near completion.

Thanking Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that due to this decision, Sikhs living in the state can now register their marriage under this Act.
