Mohali, 31 July 2020 (satish kumar puppy):-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Mohali organized its 14th International (web) Conference- 2020, in the form of a Virtual Panel Discussion on 30th July 2020. In this webinar the keynote speakers were Dr. Puja Chabra Sharma, Dean (UG), School of Management, IILM University Gurugram, Shad Ahmad Khan Assistant Professor & Chair Staff Professional Development , University of Buraimi Al-Buraimi, Sultanate of Oman and Dr. Arjita Jain, Professor and NLP Practitioner, NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies, Nerul, Mumbai, who graced the occasion by discussing and sharing their insights on the topic “Gearing Up for the Black Swan: The New Normal in Management and Technology”.
A large number of participants and delegates joined the conference from various parts of the country as well as globe and actively participated in the panel discussion. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group welcomed all the eminent key note speakers participants.
Speaking at the moment Dr. Puja talked about the need for bringing changes in strategies of HR professionals for making workplace more productive and employee friendly. She also discussed about the new expectations of the employers from their employees under the current circumstances. Speaking next, Dr. Shad Ahmad focused on the basic governance of countries which used a pro-active approach by prioritizing their health care sector and education sector perfectly that aided them to combat COVID-19 in an efficient manner. Dr. Arjita talked about how to restore peace of mind to bring happiness in life during this pandemic situation and iterated on the need of right thought process and a positive attitude to have a perfect physical and psychological well being even during the adverse times.
