Chandigarh, May 5( Wishavwarta)-The Multifaceted personality wearing many hats such as social entrepreneur, culture conservationist Mr. Ravee Singh Ahluwalia has been appointed as the Member of the Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (PSCPCR).
Passionately wedded to the cause of bringing about the social change via the awareness generation, he founded an NGO named Patiala Foundation in 2009, the sole aim of implementing innovative ideas to herald the society towards a positive change.
It was owing to his absolutely single minded devotion that saw Patiala Foundation being accorded the special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations in 2018.
This was not the only feather in his cap. His innovative child educational tool “Children Challan Book “ was adjudged as one of the best practices and included in the book “Vision of Antyodaya” unveiled by the Vice President Of India in 2020. His long list of achievements grew still longer when he was awarded the prestigious Punjab State Award in the field of Social Service by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
A multifaceted luminary, working with children has always been his first love. Associated actively with various issues of Culture, Heritage conservation, road safety, he has undertaken various awareness programs in the schools and is an Alliance advocate for Asia for Global alliance of NGOs for Road safety and is actively working on the Safe School Zone policy and advocating Safe School Vahan Policy amongst other Child rights in the state.
