Chandigarh: Finance Minister Manpreet Badal on the last day of Vidhan Sabha session making new additions in the state budget for the year 2019-2020, announced that new trauma centres will be constructed at Rajpura, Gidarbah and Shahpura.
An amount of Rs 3 crore has also been allotted to Nangal government hospital.
FM has also added that the water in ponds falling in Kapurthala sub-division will be utilised be in a pilot project for an amount of Rs 3crore.
The project for solarisation of tubewells has also been added in the budget which would approximately cost Rs 12 crore to the state exchequer.
Also an amount of Rs 1crore has been allotted for the development of infrastructure including parks and statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
