Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MLA from Kalanwali constituency in Sirsa (Haryana), S. Balkour Singh today asserted that he is a devout soldier of the SAD and did not leave the party to join any other political outfit as wrongly reported by some sections of the media a few days ago.
Refuting the reports about his joining of a newly formed political party JJP in Haryana, the SAD leader said that the JJP leaders had come to his residence to only have tea with him and the media gave it sensational touch by wrongly claiming that he had joined the JJP while severing his age old association with the SAD. “I feel very hurt after knowing that false propaganda have been spread about my political affiliation. I make it clear to all that my association with the SAD is sacrosanct to me and I could not even dream to ditch my mother-party at any cost” he added.
Speaking about his plans for any alliance future, the SAD leader said that if the SAD would keen to make alliance with any like-minded party in the state, the decision would be taken by the senior leadership and I would follow what the party commands to me. “I have told the party president S. Sukhbir Singh Badal about my unflinching loyalty and dedication for the party. I will keep supporting the party during the forthcoming parliamentary as well as assemble elections in the state as a devout solider of the SAD” he added.
