New Delhi: A Delhi Police team, including cyber crime and forensics experts, reached chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Friday morning to collect evidence related to the alleged assault on chief secretary Anshu Prakash by AAP MLAs on Monday night.
“Around 60 police personnel reached CM’s residence at Flag Staff Road in New Delhi to search the place without any intimation,” a Delhi government official said. Kejriwal was present at his residence when the police conducted the search.
The Delhi Police had registered an FIR on Tuesday against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and others on complaint of chief secretary Anshu Prakash. The chief secretary had alleged that he was assaulted by AAP MLAs during a meeting at Kejriwal’s official residence on Monday night.
The Delhi Police arrived at the CM’s house two days after the arrest of AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal in the case.
