Chandigarh: The Punjab Public Relation Officers’ association expressed deep grief over the demise of former Additional Director of Punjab Public Relations Department Gulzar Singh Sodhi. Gulzar Singh Sodhi (92) took his last breath yesterday in Ludhiana. He rendered his services to the Public Relations Department for 32 years.
The Punjab Public Relations Officers’ association’s Chairperson Senu Duggal, Vice Chairman Opinder Singh Lamba , President Navdeep Singh Gill, Senior Vice President Randeep Singh Ahluwalia and Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, General Secretary Iqbal Singh Brar, Secretary General Shikha Nehra and Press Secretary Preet Kanwal Singh and Public Relations officers posted at Chandigarh and District Public Relations Officers expressed their heartfelt condolence over the sad demise of nonagenarian former officer of Punjab Public Relations Department.
They remembered the glorious tenure of Sodhi who was very diligent and hardworking officer of the department. Gulzar Singh Sodhi’s elder son B.S Sodhi also retired from The Punjab Public Relations Department from the post of Joint Director.
The members of the association observed two minutes silence to pay homage to the departed soul. They also prayed to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear this irreparable blow.
