AAP’s state co-incharge Raghav Chadha on two-day Punjab tour
Will pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and Durgiana Temple
Chandigarh, December 31 (wishavwarta):-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab newly appointed co-incharge and MLA from Delhi, Raghav Chadha, will be on a two-day Punjab tour on January 1 and January 2, on the occasion of New Year. In a joint statement issued from the party headquarters, the party’s state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, state secretary Gagandeep Singh Chadha and Majha joint secretaries Ashok Talwar and Baljit Khaira said that on January 1, AAP Punjab co-incharge Raghav Chadha after reaching ‘Guru ki Nagri’ Amritsar, will pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Durgiana Temple and pray for the prosperity of Punjab.
The leaders said that during the first day visit, Chadha will hold a meeting with party leaders, state leaders and MLAs from Majha region and discussions would be held to strengthen the party in the coming time. They said that a strategy would be chalked out to surround the present anti-Punjab Congress government on the issue of not fulfilling the electoral promises made with the people and about the municipal elections to be held in February.
The AAP leaders said that at present, the people of Punjab were delighted to work with the Aam Aadmi Party for the prosperity of Punjab. They said that by appointing a young and educated leader like Raghav Chadha as Punjab’s co-incharge; all classes including youth of the state will join the party. The leaders said that after deliberating on the anti-people decisions being taken by the current Congress government, the next strategy would be formulated.
