Zila Parishad & Panchayat Samiti polls continues peacefully, See voter turnout

Chandigarh: The election process for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti polls is on going peacefully except few violence reports across the state.

Voting is being continuing peacefully in 22 Zila Parishad and 150 Panchayat Samities in 17268 polling booths of Punjab.

Meanwhile, till 2 pm, 52 % voter turnout reported at Mansa, 41 percent in Phagwara, 38 percent polling in Pathankot.

Apart from this, 42% voting was registered in Bathinda, 43% in Sangrur and 35% in Tarn Taran.
