Johannesburg: India, aiming to stave off a historic 3-0 series sweep by South Africa, were 45/2 at lunch after choosing to bat in the third and final Test at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. Virat Kohli was out for 54. India is now 114/4, needs someone to hold the wicket for while if they want to survive. The form is with the home team but history sides with India. South Africa who are leading 2-0 in the series, have won two, lost two and drawn one in last five Test matches played at the Bull Ring. India have won one and draw three in four Test matches played at the Wanderers. India’s only victory over South Africa at this ground came in the 2006-07 series.
