• Only one LPG refill permitted in two weeks

Nagar, March 31 ( Wishavwarta)-The people of the Mohali City have been supplied with 87454 LPG gas cylinders through 31 gas agencies during the period ranging from the day curfew was imposed owing to corona virus on 23rd March till 30th March, 2020. This was disclosed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.
In wake of huge demand- trigger under panic, the DC assured people there is no shortage of LPG as sufficient stock is available in the district. He exhorted public not to panic.
He informed that directions have been issued to the gas agencies not to undertake the second booking for a gas cylinder refill from an LPG connection holder/consumer earlier than two weeks. This has been done in order to prevent the hoarding. He also cautioned that if anybody indulges in hoarding of the essential supplies then strict would be taken in accordance with the provisions of law.
