CHANDIGARH, MARCH 19: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, CM Adviser Bharat inder Singh chahal on Thursday expressed profound grief over the demise of Harminder Kaur, mother of Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, who passed away at Badal village this morning.
Describing Harminder Kaur as a pious soul and a pillar of strength for the family, Captain Amarinder extended his condolences and prayed for eternal peace for her.
The death of Harminder, who is survived by her son, a daughter besides her husband, ex-MP Gurdas Singh Badal, was a huge loss to the family, said the Chief Minister in his condolence message. He prayed for strength for them in this hour of grief.
The cremation will take place in Badal village today (Thursday) afternoon at 3 pm, according to family sources.
