Cabinet Sub committee meeting held on Farmer Debt

Chandigarh, 18 August: Today Congress government’s cabinet sub committee meeting was held at Chandigarh over the issue of farmer debt waiver in Punjab. The meeting was attended by local body minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, Finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal and Irrigation minister Rana Gurjit. The issue of farmer debt waiver was discussed by the committee members and next meeting is scheduled on 12 September next month. Committee will prepare its final report which will be given to Cheif Minister of Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh.
