Jalandhar: A CBI court has granted bail to three Dera men, who are prime accused in sacrilege incident at Burj Jawahar Singh Wala and Bargari village of Faridkot district. The court had issued release orders of these accused but they were not released from high-security Nabha jail as they are also booked in violence cases at Moga.
As per sources, three accused Shakti Singh of Bharomajra, Harminder Bittu and Sukhjinder Singh Sunny both from Kotkapura secretly filled their bail pleas and did not let any information to leak out about their bail orders.
According to information, the bail orders of Sunny and Shakti were issued on September 12 after each of them deposited one lakh bail bond and Bittu’s bail bond was deposited on September 13.
However, the role of CBI is also on the target after three accused got bail silently in this controversial case and no word came out. Some of the senior investigating officers of Punjab are also being shocked by CBI court orders to grant bail to three accused.
A special investigation team, which was constituted under DIG Ranbir Singh Khattra to probe sacrilege cases, while cracking the sacrilege cases arrested 11 persons including Bittu, Sunny and Shakti, their statements were recorded and presented before the court.
The CBI court orders have come as a major blow to Congress government as they are taking the credit to crack the sacrilege cases and was continuously attacking Shiromani Akali Dal on Justice Ranjit Singh commission’s findings.
