Chandigarh, December 09(Wishav Warta): Reacting strongly to Congress leaders’ insulting, improper and unparliamentary utterances against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the electorate of Gujarat have always respected and loved PM Modi and would vote against Congress as a mark of protest.
He said this was not the first time that Congress leaders considered close to Rahul Gandhi have passed insulting remarks against the Prime Minister.
Referring to Aiyyar’s Pakistan visit, Chugh said that the Congress leader had sought Pakistan’s support for removing Modi as Prime Minister, which was not only shameful but an anti-national act.
He said not only Aiyyar, Digvijay or Tewari, even Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka had made hateful remarks against the Prime Minister. He recalled that Sonia had called Modi ‘Maut Ka Saudagar’ and Priyanka had termed him as ‘Neech’ which proved how the poor and down-trodden were looked down by the Gandhi family.
Chugh said the attack on the character and caste of Prime Minister was a classic example of frustration of Congress leaders due to their party’s impending defeat in Gujarat and Himachal elections. The BJP leader said the party was consulting legal luminaries on the subject and also considering to bring a privilege motion in the parliament.
