New Delhi: As a mark of respect to DMK chief M Karunanidhi, who died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness, both houses of Parliament – Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned on Wednesday.
The DMK chief died at Chennai’s Kauvery Hospital on Tuesday. He was undergoing treatment for urinary tract infection and other ailments for almost two weeks.
