Bathinda: Starting an open rebellion against Delhi high command of Aam Aadmi party Khaira group announced autonomy in Punjab Bathinda Convention called by Sukhpal Singh Khaira showing resentment on his removal from the post of LoP. Khaira also gave indications of forming a new party. Khaira presented 6 resolutions in front of the people who reached the general party Convention which they approved. Kanwar Sandhu, MLA from Kharar, announced six resolutions at the convention.
Six AAP MLAs participated in the convention including Khaira and Kanwar Sandhu. Four other MLAs of AAP were Nazar Singh Manshahian, Pirmal Singh, Baldev Singh and Kulwant Singh.
The Bathinda convention got huge support from the volunteers as people reached Bathinda from all corners of Punjab in support of Khaira.
What are these resolutions?
Resolution no. 1- Approval of making the party self-reliant in Punjab The party can take decisions on their own level.
Resolution no. 2 – Unanimously dissolve state organizational structure. Which made the party weak in the state. A resolution passed to reject the MLAs who went to Delhi. Approval of making a new organizational body of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab.
Resolution no. 3 – Party praises Khaira, who fearlessly raised issues for Punjab’s rights in the Assembly.
Resolution no. 4 – Volunteers declares removal of Khaira unconstitutional and they condemned this and within a week the party high command should appoint new Opposition Leader after holding a meeting in Chandigarh.
Resolution no. 5 – District level programs will started from Hoshiarpur on August 12. Khaira raised the voice of the people that the MLAs who have betrayed should not be allowed to enter the villages.
Resolution no. 6 – Do not take violent action in villages and cities. Replying to arguments. The party praised Punjabis for their contribution.
At last, he said that we will connect people by going from village to village, this is our main objective now.
