Chandigarh: The Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is going for another shuffle in the Punjab Police and many police officers likely to be transferred around April 30. Senior government sources have found that many new SSPs will be deployed, whereas many police officers in the scope of the dispute will be replaced.
Captain himself will now keep an eye on the transfers of police officers. In this regard, the Chief Minister will also talk with DGP Suresh Arora. Similarly, appointments of new deputy commissioners will also be made in some districts. The Deputy Commissioners will be appointed under the supervision of Chief Secretary Suresh Kumar.
